August 09 FLYING MONKEYS ON THE WING Though some have gone to the stars, their light shall ever shine and grace the memory with honor.
The dream is thus held holy by those who see and in one's own small way attempt to improve the betterment as one well placed word can change the world forever. Fine art painting, drawing, poetry, music and all forms of expression enrich the experience of being. I don't know where I am going with this or exactly what I am trying to say. Imagine that...Smile! Yet as one embraces a glory of a moment they are driven to share the terrible beauty of the universe and enhanse the gift of life.
As ever be well,
Stephen Craig Rowe December 12 Felices Fiestas- Merry ChristmasI am very busy in these moments, I don't have much free time... but I don't forget this space, it's very important for me.

Quote Has Man a Future? Quote by Bertrand Russell June 24 Flying In The Wind There are times when one just needs to be and find a space between the words to communicate. Yeah, I am ok. Older and better. The other day Mom told me that my Father has only days or weeks. I can not go home now but will go for the Military Memorial Service when the time comes. I went out and walked under the sky in a place between the words. Clouds and blue as I had never seen as I walked the wind and the wind walked right through me in my prayers. In the space between the words I was flying in the wind.
Recently a friend from Austria translated the following piece in German. You may visit http://feecolora.spaces.live.com to read the translation. While I was re reading the post my thoughts were good and I hope yours are too.
LIBERTY AND DRAGON-ECLIPSE, MAGIC, MYTH AND SOMETHING ABOUT THE MOON
Liberty stepped softly from the clouds and spread her wings then soared. White feathers stretched as she sailed and the Sun light glinted all around her, in the clear blue and the twilight she found the Dragon and thwacked him on the snout. There was a quiet rumble and a puff of smoke as the Dragon began to wake. One red eye, then the other opened, to see Liberty. The Dragon then smiled and wagged his tail. Or rather, slapped and thumped it in the Cave.
Liberty was rubbing her right elbow and smiling at the Dragon as she folded her wings and said,
" Dragon, did you see the Eclipse last night? It was so glorious and a moment to behold."
The Dragon sat upright and wiped the sleep from his eyes, took a drink of dragon brew and cleared his throat, then said. " Of course I saw the Eclipse, I made the Moon look red!" With a small puff and an expression of indignation. Rather child like in a dragon sort of way. Liberty was right there.
"Silly Dragon, you had nothing to do with the Eclipse or the color of the Moon. These are not the Olden Days." She said, in a firm but gentle voice.
The Dragon put his claws together, looked down and there was a slight twitch of his tail. He was silent for several moments, staring off into Space. Liberty just stood there and touched his head, graced his brow and patted him like he was an old dog. Warm and friendly. The love of eternety returned and there was a spark in his eye as he said.
" Yeah, I know the Olden Days are gone. That is why I slumber so. You look better than ever! Why do you keep rubbing your elbow?" The dragon then took another draw of the dragon brew as Liberty smiled and replied.
" It is nothing, but a slight pain from holding the Torch. More of this later." She said and sat next to the Dragon with a wing and an arm around him.
Head to head they nustled in silence as the worlds and words spun about them. The memory of the Olden Days and the New Worlds and thoughts of their place These Days. Oh, there the memory of Liberty and Dragon danced with the Lords and Ladies, the Faries and Angels people of the forests, rock, stone, river, streams, oceans and all the Saints and Fires that glimmer in the night and imagination. That have ever been and ever shall be......Then Dragon held out his hand and said with a smile. " Sissor, rock, or paper?" Liberty laughed out loud! A laugh that rings in all things, it was so sharp and sweet.
She smiled at the Dragon, rubbing her elbow. Then Said, " Dear Dragon, it is written somewhere that in the Beginning Was the Word. The Word became that which gave us life in the mind of humanity. There we have given Humanity the beauty of the Myth, the Magic and healing quality of words. The poets and the Muse. The Dream of the Other Worlds and the beauty of All."
There they both sat in profound silence and reviewed the sad state of human history. All the terror, wars, greed, disaster, famon, starvation, man's cruelty to man's own kind and the rape and pilliage of the Planet that gave them birth. Sacred sweet life, the ability. The desire, the Dream.
Liberty, sighed and said, " My elbow is sore from holding the Torch," as she held the Dragon and wept.
The Dragon, wiped her tears and said, " Dear Liberty, though they need us not in the times of their own making and folly. They need us forever in the beauty of the Myths, Magic and Glory of it All.
"Yes, there we shall ever be." Liberty spread her wings and soared with a song of Freedom holding high the Torch for All to see the Light.
To me, the beauty of the myth, is as dear as the reality. There we are able to examine our heritage as our heritage is paramount to the future. We need and desire fiction that is more than entertainment. Thus, we were given the Word and the desire to share. Just Do It In Pictures…
So you are wondering about buying a digital camera then you question as to if you would truly make use of it. Then you wonder about the expense, is it worthwhile, or how much of an investment must you make? All good questions with a variety of answers and all dependent on your budget and what you hope to achieve.
There are many moderately priced cameras with point and shoot features perfect for the person that wants to have remembrances of a vacation or simply outings. For a very moderate investment you can take pictures and decide which ones are worth printing and discard the rest. You are able to save photos to your computer or disk and can print them later at anytime.
Some want more from their equipment including docking stations and the ability to print their own prized pictures. Others have great aspirations of becoming professional photographers and turning their investment into a business. No matter where you find yourself, how simple or complex your aspirations there is a camera for you and joy for you to discover in your own way.
Iman
My main reason for a camera was simple a dog named Iman a beautiful black Standard Poodle. I wanted to create a picture journal as she grew from puppyhood. From there I started taking pictures of things I love in nature. My learning has continued as I try new things, new settings notice color, light and composition however these are all personal choices. If I am enjoying my treasure that is all I need if others appreciate them then bonus. Creativity is something to do for yourself, your expression and both your learning and pleasure.
An Evening Walk
There is no need to invest your life savings to simply have fun or to capture a moment in time, however memories are something you may want to remember in vivid color.
Everybody needs his memories. They keep the wolf of insignificance from the door. ~Saul Bellow~

May 04 Your Legacy Is Your Vote How Do You Decide Truth…
It seems this election has brought out the worst in human behavior especially when it comes to the Democratic Party. We either look at or ignore the baggage that Hillary Clinton brings to the table, not to mention what Bill’s agenda really might be. One has to question if he is simply supporting his spouse or campaigning for his own agenda, another kick at the Presidency albeit under the desk this time. It seems Hillary is having a likeability and honesty issue not to mention angry woman syndrome. Seems she is a down to earth gal, just like us although she and her husband live on a budget we might only dream to win in a lottery.
Would these be considered actual truths or media labels, taglines?
Barack Obama seems he is too black or not black enough. His patriotism is in question because of a lapel pin. First he was thought to be Muslim then confirmed to be a Christian, now a man who was his pastor has taken center stage because of comments he made and it seems Barack is responsible for. He is an educated man an accomplished law professor and an award winning author. He is a successful man, however now he is too smart and an elitist no less who owns four average priced suits. Seems he is seen as superior even though he comes from a biracial family, raised by a single working mother.
Would these be considered actual truths or media labels, taglines?
Now it seems John McCain for the moment is not concerned about his truth as presently there is no competition, or need to listen or even to compare truth. He is not competing for a nomination as he has secured it already. He is presently out of the spotlight and safe from scrutinizing eyes albeit for the moment. He does plan on being in Iraq for 100 years if need be.
Would these be considered actual truths or a media labels, taglines?
It is not for me to question which candidate or party you vote for, however it should be in actual truth, and it should be in hope for a better tomorrow, solutions! I keep hearing many say they are “not happy with anyone”, or they are voting for the “lesser of three evils”. Some are even openly voting for or against race, ethnicity. It seems these are all sad reasons to vote and sad reason to evoke you’re hard fought voting right.
Perhaps I am simply naïve or perhaps it is because I live in a truly multicultural society, but somehow I thought racism, ethnicity was over, in the past. I thought somehow there was hope in the electoral process. Perhaps as a neighbor and ally I am looking for hope, not only for America at home but for America on the world stage and for how this election concerns the world in general. What happens in America affects us all eventually, somehow, someway, we are all impacted. We all have our thoughts and views and we wait, we wait for you to choose fairly and honestly with vision of a better tomorrow and with unequivocal truth.
Each candidate comes from a different time and place; they all have generational differences so it is up to you to decide who truly has vision for tomorrow. Try to ignore gender, blue eyes, silver hair or black skin and read what each of the candidates stand for.
Here are the links to each Candidate for your reading: Clinton Obama McCain

April 26 The Seventh WordFirst the A vogal it's the begin To Stephen and all Flying Monkeys Menbers With Love JouElam,27-04-2008 "In his book In Portugal of 1912, A.F.G Bell writes:
Saudade is different from nostalgia (the English word, that is). In nostalgia, one has a mixed happy and sad feeling, a memory of happiness but a sadness for its impossible return and sole existence in the past. Saudade is like nostalgia but with the hope that what is being longed for might return, even if that return is unlikely or so distant in the future to be almost of no consequence to the present. One might make a strong analogy with nostalgia as a feeling one has for a loved one who has died and saudade as a feeling one has for a loved one who has disappeared or is simply currently absent. Nostalgia is located in the past and is somewhat conformist while saudade is very present, anguishing, anxious and extends into the future. For instance, the phrases "Tenho saudades tuas" (literally, "I have 'saudade' for you") and "Eu sinto a tua falta" ("I feel your absence") would each be translated into English as "I miss you" — both "falta" and "saudade" are translated as "missing." However, these two statements carry very different sentiments in Portuguese. The first sentence is never told to anyone in person, but the second can be. For example, The first would be said to someone who has been away for sometime, it would be said over the phone or written in a letter. The second would be said by someone who has divorced, or whose partner is not usually at home, and would be said personally. Some say that the ultimate form of saudade is one felt towards people and things whose whereabouts are unknown in regards to any of the following things or circumstances: · Old ways and sayings · A lost lover · A far away place where one was raised · One lover sadly missing another · Loved ones who have passed away · Feelings and stimuli one used to have but has tired of · One's youth Although it relates to feelings of melancholy and fond memories of things/people/days gone by, it can be a rush of sadness coupled with a paradoxical joy derived from acceptance of fate and the hope of recovering or substituting what is lost by something that will either fill in the void or provide consolation. One of the best descriptions of the word saudade was made by Chico Buarque de Hollanda on his song Pedaço de mim, when he says. "saudade é arrumar o quarto do filho que já morreu." which roughly translates to "saudade is to tidy the bedroom of a son who has already died." (in Wikipédia)

April 22 Ode To Mother Nature on Earth DayGod has many faces and regardless of how you view God or whether "God" is just some higher power you feel is at the center of all things in the universe, this poem sums up the greatness of one of "God's" finest creations...the almighty tree. The words are serene, yet powerful. Their simplicity is captivating and timeless. The message is clear...everyday is a day to be in awe of nature and that our home, our planet deserves our respect and tender loving care.

Who is the most genius? "I was always anarchist and monarchist also." Yes, Dali was... I had written a book critique about Salvador Dali's autobiography in 1995. About a genius person and his life. Of course a life of a genius will be different all of the others. Especially, if he is an artist. I will share some sections with you from that essay:It is Dali's diary. The big crazy, genius, enthusiastic surrealist Salvador Dali had written all about his life in it. Every kind of inspiration, hump, his wife Gala, aesthetics, ethics, philosophy, biology etc... Michel Daon is saying in introduction like that: "He is sensible about his genius. And this feeling is putting him at ease as usual. (...) This diary is a collosal art. Unprovided with humility but sincere. The writer is giving away his secrets with an unlimited humour, with pomp and circumstance, with a brazen arrogance." Dali is not an ordinary student in his childhood. Sometimes he had made an impression ineducable fool, sometimes he had felt a big desire and stability for his lessons. The first brick which had fallen on his head is Nietzsche. This brick had appalled him. "What?!.." "Is God dead?!.." He had began to read Thus Spoke Zarathustra and comes to this decision in just the second day: "Nietzsche was a powerless man as much as to become insane. However, the basic principle is not to lose wits in the world. And this ideas had become the basic principles of his life: "The difference between an insane and me is that I am not insane." ![]() The left picture is Face of Mae West (1935), the right one is also, Gala. "Super woman" Gala is Dali's "superman". He believes that she is his fate. I found some photos in internet about Gala, Dali and his artistic works. Dali had painted Mae West's portrait. I looked at that portrait and influenced so much. When I apposed Mae West and Gala, my hair stood on end. Do you see the same with me? There is an interesting similarity. As if a weird mutation...
There are three genius in this page. Guess who is the most genius?

October 27 The Television PowerAn aggression that lasted some minutes has given for hours of programming in all the television channels (In Spain). that everybody condemns. After all Spain saw the images in the television, the racism is the theme of the most comments.
The case is unacceptable, intolerable and requires an exemplary punishment... but only is the tip of the iceberg. 600 cases of discrimination were documented in Spain this year and it seems that nobody cares...
Why? Because nobody knows it, we do not watch them in television...
For Example:
-Today I read in the newspaper that the aggressor of an economist Congolese is without bail in the street, (the victim is in a wheelchair forever) (CLICK HERE) (sorry, link is in Spanish language)...
-In Zaidin ( Huesca) there is 1800 inhabitants. ..264 are immigrants... Immigrants are not allowed to have a meal with the local people in the town that celebrates the end of the festivals (CLICK HERE) The mayor says: "One must put control, because the immigrants would fill the tables and not the people of the town"...
And I ask me... Who are raising the economy of that town? Inmigrants also live there.
- Some police officers (protected by a false sense of the Law) give a different deal to the immigrants (CLICK HERE) This is denounces repeatedly by International Amnesty.
All these cases and many more go unnoticed... The same thing would occur with the case of (see Videoclip) the individual that hit to the ecuadorian girl on the metro of Barcelona, but a camera recorded it all, without that he would go unpunishment.
This action should not remain unpunished, deserves an exemplary punishment.
Although in Spain, the racists are minority, the facts occur with certain frequency. All we should imply us against the racism... because is not a camera always recording the acts.
Ahhhhh and what about the witness that observes the action without doing nothing??? Impassive while the other one kicked the girl, as if nothing was happening, without helping her. So much fault has the aggressor as the one that permits the aggression... It is a terrible thing to be watching someone hiting someone whitout helping defenseless person... What ashame!!
All Spain is speaking of this... in the television, in the newspapers, in the street, from the origin country of the girl , the authorities are requiring responsibilities ... Public opinion requires justice and an exemplary punishment for the aggressor.
Many aggressions pass unnoticed. ... but thanks to television this act will be punished.
(This video is in Spanish Language, but the action is seen clearly. I didn't find the English version)
